Key insights

Company research notes and source-linked reviews

Key risks

Operating margins deeply negative (–157% to –549%) across recent quarters; core explosives operations are structurally unprofitable—verify whether this reflects temporary demand weakness or persistent operational challenges
Net profit vastly exceeds revenue (₹1.82–3.39 Cr vs. ₹14–1,222 Cr); profitability entirely dependent on non-operating gains that may not recur if extraordinary items end
Explosives manufacturing faces strict regulatory, licensing, and safety compliance requirements; verify current status, renewal timelines, and exposure to regulatory change
Market cap (₹1,970 Cr) vastly exceeds quarterly revenue base; verify the composition of reported profits and whether balance sheet contains hidden liabilities or contingencies

Generated analysis · source review pending

Growth drivers

Quarterly revenues (₹1.82–3.39 Cr) are tiny relative to market cap; verify whether new contracts in explosives or geographic expansion could drive volume growth
Dividend payments continuing through 2022–2025 show available cash; verify whether this is reinvested operationally to build production capacity or returned to shareholders
ROE of 64.5% vs. OPM of –321% indicates returns are non-operational; verify the source of net profits and whether a path to positive operating margins through sector recovery or efficiency exists
