Key insights

Company research notes and source-linked reviews

Key risks

Profitability crisis: net profit fell 85% year-over-year from ₹37.42 Cr (Mar 2024) to ₹5.52 Cr (Mar 2025), with PE=0 indicating negative full-year earnings.

Margin compression: operating margin halved from 15.23% (Dec 2023) to 8.97% (Mar 2025), indicating structural pressure on unit economics.

Illiquid shareholder base: 71.91% promoter ownership combined with 0% FII/DII holding may constrain liquidity and signal institutional investor caution.

Cyclical sector exposure: verify whether current weakness reflects temporary commodity downturn or durable deterioration in competitive position or market demand.

Growth drivers

Latest quarter revenue of ₹330.5 Cr (Mar 2025) is the dataset high; verify if this reflects sustained demand recovery and whether margins stabilise at higher sales levels.

Strong balance sheet with D/E of 0.27 provides debt capacity for growth capex, acquisitions, or enhanced shareholder distributions.

India's infrastructure and industrial sectors offer structural tailwinds for steel demand; verify Beekay's competitive positioning and exposure to high-growth customer segments.
